UCMINISTRIES When I first read this story it took about three seconds to realize the full complexity of what has just happened.  The question is does anyone else see the full horror that is before us?   Just as one would drop a stone into a pond you begin to see the ripples move outward.  Mr Rashid may be a very small stone being dropped into the pond of British society.  But the ramification spread far and wide.

Let’s get the basics story line:

  • Adil Rashid admitted travelling to Nottingham and having sex with the girl
  • He met the 13-year-old on Facebook and they communicated by texts and phone for two months before they met
  • He was educated in a madrassa and ‘had little experience of women’
  • Said he had been taught ‘women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground’
  • Added he was reluctant to have sex but that he was ‘tempted by [the girl]’

A muslim who raped a 13-year-old girl he groomed on Facebook has been spared a prison sentence after a judge heard he went to an Islamic faith school where he was taught that women are worthless.

Adil Rashid, 18, claimed he was not aware that it was illegal for him to have sex with the girl because his education left him ignorant of British law.

Yesterday Judge Michael Stokes handed Rashid a suspended sentence, saying: ‘Although chronologically 18, it is quite clear from the reports that you are very naive and immature when it comes to sexual matters.’     Earlier Nottingham Crown Court heard that such crimes usually result in a four to seven-year prison sentence.   But the judge said that because Rashid was ‘passive’ and ‘lacking assertiveness’, sending him to jail might cause him ‘more damage than good’. Rashid, from Birmingham, admitted he had sex with the girl, saying he had been ‘tempted by her’ after they met online.

They initially exchanged messages on Facebook before sending texts and chatting on the phone over a two-month period. They then met up in Nottingham, where Rashid had booked a room at a Premier Inn.  The girl told police they stayed at the hotel for two hours and had sex after Rashid went to the bathroom and emerged wearing a condom.

Rashid then returned home and went straight to a mosque to pray. He was arrested the following week after the girl confessed what had happened to a school friend, who informed one of her teachers. He told police he knew the girl was 13 but said he was initially reluctant to have sex before relenting after being seduced. Earlier the court heard how Rashid had ‘little experience of women’ due to his education at an Islamic school in the UK, which cannot be named for legal reasons.

After his arrest, he told a psychologist that he did not know having sex with a 13-year-old was against the law. The court heard he found it was illegal only when he was informed by a family member. In other interviews with psychologists, Rashid claimed he had been taught in his school that ‘women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground’.  When Judge Stokes said Rashid ‘must have known it was illegal, unless he was going round with his eyes shut’, defence lawyer Laban Leake said reports suggested Rashid had a ‘degree of sexual naivety’. ‘The school he attended, it is not going too far to say, can be described as a closed community and on this occasion this was perpetuated by his home life.

It is not too far to say that he may not have known that having sex with a 13-year-old girl was illegal.’ Judge Stokes sentenced Rashid to nine months youth custody, suspended for two years, along with a two-year probation supervision order. Describing Rashid, the judge said: ‘He’s had an unusual education, certainly in terms of the sexual education provided. Comparing women to lollipops is a very curious way of teaching young men about sex.’

But he said that Rashid knew what he was doing was wrong.

‘It was made clear to you at the school you attended that having sexual relations with a woman before marriage was contrary to the precepts of Islam,’ he said. Addressing Rashid, the judge said: ‘I accept this was a case where the girl was quite willing to have sexual activity with you. But the law is there to protect young girls, even though they are perfectly happy to engage in sexual activity.’

Now the police are investigating Jimmy Savile and his many celebrity friends.  If anything it has been a naming it and shaming routine for many, even though no conviction has been pursued at this present moment.  Now here we have a 18-year-old Moslem who is prosecuted for rape and what is pedophilia.  What makes this story a truly horrific is that the man in question falls back on his religious upbringing.    Two very prominent statements struck me immediately on what this young man was  being taught in his closed community.

Women are no more worthy than a lollipop that has been dropped on the ground.

Judge heard he went to an Islamic faith school where he was taught that women are worthless.

What sort of community teaches their children that women are worthless?  Seriously folks what sort of mental image does a child grow up with.  Condition to see women as some sort of object thats worthless.

Now according to the paper the school he went to can’t be name for legal reasons WHY NOT?  Are the police actively investigating?  In fact, why unlike Savile and his celebrity friends there no naming and shaming of the school in question?

The Most frightening aspect here, are there more students  like Adil Rashid  out there who have been taught that women are WORTHLESS.  In fact who is to say that in a few years time we will have a whole community of men whose basic beliefs is that women in general are nothing more than something you scrape of your shoe.  Believe me the possibility is very frightening for the future. The rights of women in Moslems countries are not good.  When someone is seen as worthless then violence against them becomes more acceptable, and more justifiable.

The question that should be raised is this school still operating under their present mandate and if so why?  If this school is teaching such ideology then questions need to be asked on all levels of this society. Now I can’t help wondering that if this was anything other than a Moslem faith school the police  the newspapers and social services and even Parliament will be banging down their door for answers.  Does anyone hear anything from the news right now?

Now  when you hear of some of the unrealistic naivety that other Moslem countries churn out  you might just begin to grasp the possibilities as to what might be round the corner for this country.

Saudis fear there will be ‘no more virgins’ and people will turn gay if female drive ban is lifted

The astonishing report comes after Shaima Jastaniya, a 34-year-old Saudi woman, was sentenced to 10 lashes with a whip after being caught driving in Jeddah. There has been strong protest in the country about the sentence – and about the law generally. But resistance to reform and change remains strong among conservative royals and clerics.

Let us not forget the absurdity of the Olympic games when Iranian Paralympic athlete refused to shake the Duchess of Cambridge’s hand.  All because she was a woman.

Such superstitious fear might be forgiven if this was the product of some simply mind, but when you have leading clerics coming out with such foolishness what then?  For women in Britain the right to drive is a basic human right.  Yet we would have private schools teachings their children that women are predominantly nothing better than a throw away lollypop.  Is this not a denial of such human rights?   The impact upon a nation if left could indeed be devastating unless there is a quick U-turn.  Islam fundamentalism is steeped in a seventh century mindset.  The desire for society and women in general to be regressed back to some medieval dark ages is clearly unacceptable.

In a recent book on the subject of Islamic violence against women this brief except speaks volumes.  Whilst I might not agree with every point it raises some serious questions.

Violence against women in Arab and Islamic countries

In Arab and Islamic countries, domestic violence is not yet considered a major concern despite its increasing frequency and serious consequences. Surveys in Egypt, Palestine, Israel and Tunisia show that at least one out of three women is beaten by her husband. The indifference to this type of violence stems from attitudes that domestic violence is a private matter and, usually, a justifiable response to misbehaviour on the part of the wife. Selective excerpts from the Koran are used to prove that men who beat their wives are following God’s commandments. These religious justifications, plus the importance of preserving the honour of the family, lead abusers, victims, police and health care professionals to join in a conspiracy of silence rather than disclosing these offences. However, a fair reading of the Koran shows that wife abuse, like genital mutilation and “honour killings” are a result of culture rather than religion.

Source  :

My view is that it is not just cultural but also remains in part religious.  I am reminded of a story that was reported in the papers of a Moslem couple who came to blows a few years back.  The husband was a Moslem teacher at university in Germany,   His wife was not prepared to abandoned her love for western lifestyle which she felt was more relaxed.  As the Husband was raining blow upon blows upon her, he quoted from the Koran as justification for his right to beat her to a pulp.  Thankfully the German police disagreed and arrested the husband for assault.

I believe this was the verse in question::

Koran 4: 34 Pickthal: Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.

Now compare that with what the Bible says:

1 Peter 3: 7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

There is a clear difference between the two.

It has been shown that when rights are diminished for either cultural or religious reasons violence against such individuals follows.

The notes come from an article on how to convert to Islam.  However we are going to compare what the Bible has to say on this issue:

The word “Muslim” means one who submits to the will of God, regardless of their race, nationality or ethnic background. Becoming a Muslim is a simple and easy process that requires no pre-requisites. One may convert alone in privacy, or he/she may do so in the presence of others.

If anyone has a real desire to be a Muslim and has full conviction and strong belief that Islam is the true religion of God, then, all one needs to do is pronounce the “Shahada”, the testimony of faith, without further delay. The “Shahada” is the first and most important of the five pillars of Islam. With the pronunciation of this testimony, or “Shahada”, with sincere belief and conviction, one enters the fold of Islam.

Upon entering the fold of Islam purely for the Pleasure of God, all of one’s previous sins are forgiven, and one starts a new life of piety and righteousness. The Prophet said to a person who had placed the condition upon the Prophet in accepting Islam that God would forgive his sins:

“Do you not know that accepting Islam destroys all sins which come before it?” (Saheeh Muslim)

Forgiveness without accountability.

Upon what basis is these sins forgiven?  NONE.  How do they know their sins are forgiven?  THEY DON’T.  Who is to say a person could accept Islam one day and then reject it the next.  The Bible however gives us the basis upon which sins can and will be forgiven.  The shedding of blood and the death of the innocent was Gods way of building a foundation upon which man can come to know that their sins are forgiven.  There is no if, but, or maybe with God.  The foundation of faith is not based upon the mere words of a man but upon Biblical and historical evidence.  Islam does not have that.  The Bible lays principle upon principle, brick upon brick all the way from Genesis to Calvary and then to the Book or revelation.  So the foundation of redemption runs consistently throughout the Bible.  Every detail is there for a reason.  This consistency does not run through the Koran.

Christianity however has also in recent years fallen into the same lie as Islam.  Forgiveness without accountability.  It seems as long as we could get people to say the right words and nod at the right prayer we came to believe they were then converted to Christianity.  In reality words alone did not make the change.  God alone and the transformation of the Holy Spirit alone made the change.  When people cried out to God it was God who did the saving.  Man has no ability strength or power to save himself.  He must cry out to God to save or he will be lost.  Faith was never in our words we speak but in the living God who has the power to save and to forgive.   God is a moral God and is precise in everything he does and therefore lays down principles upon which we can know that God approves or  disapproves of something.

Salvation was never in trying to conform our lives to a religious institution, but in the transforming power of God which works mightly in the believer.

Rom 10: 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

When one accepts Islam, they in essence repent from the ways and beliefs of their previous life. One need not be overburdened by sins committed before their acceptance. The person’s record is clean, and it is as if he was just born from his mother’s womb. One should try as much as possible to keep his records clean and strive to do as many good deeds as possible.

The Holy Quran and Hadeeth (prophetic sayings) both stress the importance of following Islam. God states:

“…The only religion in the sight of God is Islam…” (Quran 3:19)

In another verse of the Holy Quran, God states:

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter, he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (their selves in the Hellfire).” (Quran 3:85)

It is clear then that Islam recognises no other religion but Islam and therefore it will not tolerate rivals.  In fact they make it clear anyone accepts any other religion accept Islam they will be lost.  I one sense here Christianity would hold to a similar testimony that says:

Gal 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

So either Islam is wrong or Christianity is wrong and there is no middle ground. Paul makes it clear that Islam is the one who is wrong.  For the Bible has the foundation history, consistency on salvation.  The Koran has no such evidence to hold up.  Jesus himself had this to say that unless a man is “BORN AGAIN HE WILL NOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN”

John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Despite the fact that Islam claims to accept Jesus they give little heed to what Jesus had to say.

In another saying, Muhammad, the Prophet of God, said:

“Whoever testifies that there in none worthy of being worshipped but God, Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and Prophet, and that Jesus is the Slave of God, His Prophet, and His word which He bestowed in Mary and a spirit created from Him; and that Paradise (Heaven) is true, and that the Hellfire is true, God will eventually admit him into Paradise, according to his deeds.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

The Prophet of God, may the blessing and mercy of God be upon him, also reported:

“Indeed God has forbidden to reside eternally in Hell the person who says: “I testify that none has the right to worship except Allah (God),’ seeking thereby the Face of God.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

This would seem to suggest that people who testify to allah will not spend eternity in hell, is that not similar to purgatory?  Notice that it says that Allah will admit a person into Paradise “ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS”  Now it is my conjecture that Muhammad was influenced by the Roman Catholic church, both for and against its institution.

Salvation based upon works.:  The Bible makes it clear that we can never be saved according to our works. Trying to establish their own righteousness they have not submitted to the righteousness of God,

Rom 10: 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God

Christianity differs here from Islam in so far as we recognised that good deeds before God are not the basis for salvation, Good deeds come from being saved , but do not contribute to salvation.

Romans 3: 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Rom 3: 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

For the Christian our righteousness comes not from our own good deeds, but from the life of another.  That is why Jesus came and lived a perfect sinless life.  His perfect righteousness would be attributed to the sinner, so that we now stand before a holy God in the righteousness won by Jesus.

The Declaration of the Testimony (Shahada)

To convert to Islam and become a Muslim a person needs to pronounce the below testimony with conviction and understanding its meaning:

I testify “La ilah illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”

The translation of which is:

“I testify that there is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a Messenger (Prophet) of God.”

As Allah is a false deity then confessing him as God is actually placing a curse upon your own head, rather than find God.

When someone pronounces the testimony with conviction, then he/she has become a Muslim.  It can be done alone, but it is much better to be done with an adviser through the “Live Help” at top, so we may help you in pronouncing it right and to provide you with important resources for new Muslims.

The first part of the testimony consists of the most important truth that God revealed to mankind: that there is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Almighty God. God states in the Holy Quran:

“We did not send the Messenger before you without revealing to him: ‘none has the right to be worshipped except I, therefore worship Me.’” (Quran 21:25)

This conveys that all forms of worship, whether it be praying, fasting, invoking, seeking refuge in, and offering an animal as sacrifice, must be directed to God and to God alone. Directing any form of worship to other than God (whether it be an angel, a messenger, Jesus, Muhammad, a saint, an idol, the sun, the moon, a tree) is seen as a contradiction to the fundamental message of Islam, and it is an unforgivable sin unless it is repented from before one dies. All forms of worship must be directed to God only.

Worship means the performance of deeds and sayings that please God, things which He commanded or encouraged to be performed, either by direct textual proof or by analogy. Thus, worship is not restricted to the implementation of the five pillars of Islam, but also includes every aspect of life. Providing food for one’s family, and saying something pleasant to cheer a person up are also considered acts of worship, if such is done with the intention of pleasing God. This means that, to be accepted, all acts of worship must be carried out sincerely for the Sake of God alone.

The second part of the testimony means that Prophet Muhammad is the servant and chosen messenger of God. This implies that one obeys and follows the commands of the Prophet. One must believe in what he has said, practice his teachings and avoid what he has forbidden. One must therefore worship God only according to his teaching alone, for all the teachings of the Prophet were in fact revelations and inspirations conveyed to him by God.

One must try to mold their lives and character and emulate the Prophet, as he was a living example for humans to follow. God says:

One must try and mould their lives… emulate the prophetIslam is a religion of works.  It cannot save the lost any more than trying to lift oneself by your own boot laces.  This is the tragic situation that many believe that by their deeds they can dictate how they will approach God.

Rom 11: 6 And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

ROM 4: 4-5 NOW TO HIM THAT WORKETH IS THE REWARD NOT RECKONED OF GRACE, BUT OF DEBT.   But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

This verse strikes at the heart of any works religion.  For if we have to work for it then it would be  of debt and not grace, however the Bible make it clear that God is no mans debtor.  Salvation can never be based on works.  Fundamentally this would mean that some would have an advantage over others.  The rich would have the abilities to do good deeds than the poor or the invalid.  Is that not what we see with those who travel to the Saudi Arabia and the Hajj.

“And indeed you are upon a high standard of moral character.” (Quran 68:4)

God also said: “And in deed you have a good and upright example in the Messenger of God, for those who hope in the meeting of God and the Hereafter, and mentions God much.” (Quran 33:21)

In Islam the issue is trying to have a good character, but in the Bible the issue is that man is sinful and cannot be of a good character.   His righteousness is nothing more than filthy rags.  All have sinned and come short of Gods glory, every man has gone his own way.  There is none righteous no not one and that includes Muhammad as well. (Romans 3: )  So man has no ability to make himself right with God because his best is not good enough.

Muhammad’s character is therefore not a good character.  As we have seen the evidence from the Bible is that there is none righteous before God.  The example of the little old lady who lives down the street who bakes cookies for the boy scouts is still just as unrighteous before God as the vilest criminal who ever exists.  We might be horrified by this.  However that is because > SIN< is sanitized and moralised in our culture and we simply do not see it for what it is.  Sin is a blight that exists at the very core of our being,   a nature that resents any conformity to Gods law, a rebellion that seeks to establish his own way to approach his deity.  Many religions have a moral code of practice that seems admirable.  They have an outward conformity to practices, but there still burns in their nature that which resents that conformity.  They will adhere because it suits their purposes.

“He was sent in order to practically implement the Quran, in his saying, deeds, legislation as well as all other facets of life. Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, when asked about the character of the Prophet, replied:

“His character was that of the Quran.” (As-Suyooti)

To truly adhere to the second part of the Shahada is to follow his example in all walks of life. God says:

“Say (O Muhammad to mankind): ‘If you (really) love God, then follow me.’” (Quran 3:31)

It also means that Muhammad is the Final Prophet and Messenger of God, and that no (true) Prophet can come after him.

Muhammad is not the father of any man among you but he is the Messenger of God and the last (end) of the Prophets and God is Ever All-Aware of everything.” (Quran 33:40)

All who claim to be prophets or receive revelation after Muhammad are imposters, and to acknowledge them would be tantamount to disbelief.

We welcome you to Islam, congratulate you for your decision, and will try to help you in any way we can.

The last part is the rejection of Jesus to the worship of Muhammad.  Now Moslems would obviously disagree that they worship Muhammad.  But you can see by the way they elevate him upon a pedestal they actually do. Just as Christians seek to elevate and recognise Jesus, Islam would elevate Muhammad to a similar status.   Why is it so important that we believe that Muhammad has to be the final prophet why?   Because as a religion it is not God centred but man centred.    They place Muhammad in the place Jesus should be.  Jesus failed in his mission while Muhammad succeeded in his.

The Bible says if a prophet came along and gave a word and said let us go and worship another God we are not to believe him.   If Muhammad was a true prophet then he would have pointed to Jesus as the saviour of the world, instead he rejected the testimony God gives concerning his son.

 Rom 3: 24-25  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

For the believer we enter into salvation like a drowning man would reach out to a rescuer.  Helpless hopeless and lost.  No provision or goodness to recommend ourselves to one who is absolutely pure in everything he does.  Recognising that all we deserved was his wrath.  God forgiveness comes because we recognised there is one who can save and has the power to save.  Now salvation is not in some mere mental acknowledgement, but when God by his Holy Spirit begin to do a work of transformation within the believer.  Being born again is a supernatural work of Gods grace.  The door was opened by Jesus Christ, the final sacrifice for sin.  He purchased our redemption and we obtain it by asking for it.   We can know we have because his Spirit will witness to our spirits that we are the Child of God and God is our father.  The pwer of the gospel is not the believer trying to make himself righteous, he is righteous before God.  More so is that God will transform our lives to conform to Gods nature.  Jesus took Gods wrath and paid the debt we could not pay.  Therefore we rise with Christ into the newnest of life.

Islam wants to portray itself as a religion of peace love and tolerance, but the trouble is that the overwhelming evidence runs contrary to this. If anything the more fundamental it becomes the more violent it becomes.  We have here an article called:   Islam And The People Of The Book

The article seeks to present an ecumenical message for the great monotheistic faith of Islam Judaism and Christianity.  As we will see it does not just fail to provide the reader with the truth about Islam, but it tries to deliberately deceive the reader.

Islam is a religion of peace, love and tolerance. Today, however, some circles have been presenting a false image of Islam, as if there were conflict between Islam and the adherents of the two other monotheistic religions. Yet Islam’s view of Jews and Christians, who are named “the People of the Book” in the Qur’an , is very friendly and tolerant.

The fact that Islam is one of the main contributors to the persecutors of Christians throughout the middle and far East makes this first statement a lie.  It says   “some circles”  “have presented a false image of Islam.”  Notice it does not say what circles?  Are these circles Moslem or what. Notice also it talks about the people of the book.  If Moslems really believed in the people of the Book they would ask and receive the truth from the people of the Book , but as we will see they do in fact reject the people and the Book (Bible) as being  altered.

This attitude towards the People of the Book developed during the years of the birth of Islam. At that time, Muslims were a minority, struggling to protect their faith and suffering oppression and torture from the pagans of the city of Mecca. Due to this persecution, some Muslims decided to flee Mecca and shelter in a safe country with a just ruler. The Prophet Muhammad told them to take refuge with King Negus, the Christian king of Ethiopia. The Muslims who followed this advice found a very fair administration that embraced them with love and respect when they went to Ethiopia. King Negus refused the demands of the pagan messengers who asked him to surrender the Muslims to them, and announced that Muslims could live freely in his country.

Such attitudes of Christian people that are based on the concepts of compassion, mercy, modesty and justice, constitute a fact that God has pointed out in the Qur’an . A verse of the Qur’an states:

You will find the people most affectionate to those who believe are those who say, ‘We are Christians.’ That is because some of them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant. (Surat al-Ma’ida, 82)

Now as the Koran is the product of a man imagination we will find that the Koran will contradict itself.

Koran 5: 51  O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

Koran 9: 30 The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah “; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah .” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? ·

Koran 9: 29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled

Now these verses do not give the impression that Islam is a religion of  love peace and tolerance.  The simply fact that that we have only to look at what is happening to Christians across the world to verify the hatred Moslems have towards Christians.

The Common Beliefs and Values of the People of the Book with Muslims

Christian and Muslim belief have many aspects in common. Judaism too shares many beliefs with Islam. All true adherents of these three great religions:

  • ” believe that God has created the entire universe out of nothing and that He dominates all that exists with His omnipotence.
  • ” believe that God has created man and living things in a miraculous way and that man possesses a soul granted him by God.
  • ” believe that besides Jesus, Moses or Muhammad, God sent many prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Joseph throughout history, and they love all these prophets.
  • ” believe in resurrection, Heaven and Hell and angels, and that God has created our lives with a certain destiny.

Common beliefs: What common beliefs?

  • The Korans version of the creation story does not match what the Bible teaches.  The Koran borrowed bits and pieces from everywhere.  Because they did not understand what the Bible teaches they basically get it all muddled.
  • The Korans version as to how God created man also conflicts with the Bible, in fact the Koran has three separate versions as to how man was created.  Neither of which gel with the others.
  • The Koran recognises many prophets however Jesus is placed alongside these other prophets and a failed one at that.  Who was saved by the skin of his neck and therefore never went to the cross.  Furthermore they believe Muhammad was a prophet when in fact he was a false prophet.  If Islam loved Jesus as they said then they would obey what he taught.  Now where in the Koran will you come across the teaching of Jesus?  They are ominously silent on that matter.
  • They may believe in a resurrection but many religions might believe in some form of resurrection, angels, heaven and such like. But what it does not say is that Islam is based on a works mentality which cannot save them.  They hope that their good deeds will one day outweigh their bad deeds, which the Bible makes it clear that it will not save them. Only the Bible has the answer to mans sin.

 Creation Koran style:

Surat Al-`Alaq (The Clot   96:2 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:

25:54   And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].

53: 32    Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.

So what was it ?  From blood , water or the earth?  Three conflicting verses on this subject of creation.  They cant all be right.  There is also an issue as to how many days allah took to create the worlds.  6 physical 24 days or was that 6 eons of time?

The beliefs of the People of the Book are in harmony with Muslims, not only in terms of faith-related issues, but also of moral values. Today, in a world where such immoralities as adultery, homosexuality, drug addiction and a model of egoism and self-seeking cruelty have grown widespread, the People of the Book and Muslims share the same virtues: Honor, chastity, humility, self-sacrifice, honesty, compassion, mercy and unconditional love…

So when the article says that the beliefs of Islam are in harmony with Moslems they are either very deceived or deliberately lying.  There is no common beliefs to be found.  Once you actually take a closer look you will find a vast difference.  Moral values is not a basis of harmony if they reject the basic doctrine of scripture.

According To The Qur’an , Muslims, Jews And Christians Should Live In Friendship

Eph 5: 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].

Gal 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

It is evident there are ample grounds for an alliance between the “People of the Book” and Muslims. This is also very evident in the Qur’an . In the relevant verses of the Qur’an , there is a significant difference between the People of the Book and the idolaters. This is especially emphasized in the area of social life. For example, it is said concerning the idolaters: “(they) are unclean, so after this year they should not come near the Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba).” (Surat at-Tawba: 28) Idolaters are people who obey no divine law, have no moral precepts and who are capable of committing every kind of degrading and perverse action without hesitation.

But while they basically rely on God’s revelation, the People of the Book have moral precepts and know what is lawful and what is not. For this reason, if one of the People of the Book cooks some food, it is lawful for Muslims to eat it. In the same way, permission has been given for a Muslim man to marry a woman from among the People of the Book. On this subject God commands:

The article finishes by saying: “Let us Rally to a Common Formula”

The Bible however says that Islam is a false religion.  The fact they reject the true Jesus of the Bible who did indeed go to the cross and die and after three days rose from the dead.  Jesus is the only way to the father.  Islam has no answer to this.

So if there is so much harmony then why do Moslems who convert out of Islam have their lives threatened.   The answer is that Islam is not a tolerant religion.

Jesus of the Koran is not the Jesus of the Bible.  In fact they like to add to scripture by putting words into Jesus mouth that he did not say.

5:116  And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

Islam has Jesus denying his deity, however the Bible proves otherwise.(John 1: 1-3)

The Bible also carries a sever warning for anyone who adds to the word of this prophecy.

Rev 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Prophecy excepts Jesus as GOD!

Math 1: 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Revelation accepts Jesus as GOD!

Rev 1: 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

John 8: 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus received worship from people!

Math 14: 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Mar 5: 6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him

Jesus receive worship in heaven!

Rev 5: 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Which means the people of the book (Christians) recognises Jesus as God!

Jesus recieves acknowledgement as the GOD of creation!

Heb 1: 3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

NO man or prophet could do this.  No matter how great he is. He is either God or he is worst of decievers.  But he proved who he was by the things he did and the testimony of his father.

Conclusion we cannot rally to any common cause because there is none.  The article deliberately tries to deceive people.   We are called to love the Moslems and share the gospel with them.  Many Moslems are coming to know Jesus and despite intense persecution the church is growing in these countries.
