Destroy all churches : Obama silent while Saudi grand mufti targets Christianity

If the pope called for the destruction of all the mosques in Europe, the uproar would be cataclysmic. Pundits would lambaste the church, the White House would rush out a statement of deep concern, and rioters in the Middle East would kill each other in their grief. But when the most influential leader in the Muslim world issues a fatwa to destroy Christian churches, the silence is deafening.

On March 12, Sheik  Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the grand mufti of  Saudi Arabia , declared that it is “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.” The ruling came in response to a query from a Kuwaiti delegation over proposed legislation to prevent construction of churches in the emirate. The mufti based his decision on a story that on his deathbed, Muhammad declared, “There are not to be two religions in the [Arabian] Peninsula.” This passage has long been used to justify intolerance in the kingdom. Churches have always been banned in Saudi Arabia, and until recently Jews were not even allowed in the country. Those wishing to worship in the manner of their choosing must do so hidden away in private, and even then the morality police have been known to show up unexpectedly and halt proceedings.

This is not a small-time radical imam trying to stir up his followers with fiery hate speech. This was a considered, deliberate and specific ruling from one of the most important leaders in the Muslim world. It does not just create a religious obligation for those over whom the mufti has direct authority; it is also a signal to others in the Muslim world that destroying churches is not only permitted but mandatory.

The Obama administration ignores these types of provocations at its peril. The  White House has placed international outreach to Muslims at the center of its foreign policy in an effort to promote the image of the United States as an Islam-friendly nation. This cannot come at the expense of standing up for the human rights and religious liberties of minority groups in the Middle East. The region is a crucial crossroads. Islamist radicals are leading the rising political tide against the authoritarian, secularist old order. They are testing the waters in their relationship with the outside world, looking for signals of how far they can go in imposing their radical vision of a Shariah-based theocracy. Ignoring provocative statements like the mufti’s sends a signal to these groups that they can engage in the same sort of bigotry and anti-Christian violence with no consequences.

Mr. Obama’s outreach campaign to the Muslim world has failed to generate the good will that he expected. In part, this was because he felt it was better to pander to prejudice than to command respect. When members of the Islamic establishment call for the religious equivalent of ethnic cleansing, the leader of the free world must respond or risk legitimizing the oppression that follows. The United States should not bow to the extremist dictates of the grand mufti, no matter how desperate the  White House  is for him to like us.

UC MINISTRIES:  There can be no doubt that there is a growing tide of hatred for anything which is not Islamic.  The fact that Christianity is winning converts accross the east  has made it public enemy number 1.  Saudi Arabia  comes in  top of the league tables for persecuting Christians.  If as the video declares that Obama has remained silent there should be cries for his resignation.  However the question remains is he the only leader in the western world to remain silent on this matter.  So where are the voices of  the UN demanding an appology.  Accidentaly burn a Koran and we see Moslems rioting.  Innocent members of the public moslem and none moslem  alike turn up dead,  Obama immedietly is on record as appologising for any insults.  But any Fatwa or statement by some high ranking Mufti on the destruction of all churches and those in leadership grow quiet.  The ramification by such a high ranking figure has major implications.  Not just in Middle East but accross the world at large.  It sends the signal thats OK to commit crimes.  Where is the morality of such a religion that encourages the breaking of the law.  There lies the major diiference between Islam and Christianity. As the apostle Paul says we are to life in peace as much as possible with all men.

Rom 12:18  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men

contrast this with the recent troubles in  Afghanistan  where they were calling for the deaths of  foreigners .  It did not matter if they were innocent or not.  Mob rules is not the rule of law.

True Christians have a love for the Law of God.  Can we say the same thing about Islam?

The watchtower teaching on this subject of disfellowshipping.

Raymond Victor Franz(May 8, 1922 – June 2, 2010) was a member of the  Governing body of Jehovah Witness from 20 October 1971 until 22 May 1980, and served at the organization’s  headquaters for fifteen years, from 1965 until 1980.   Raymond Uncle was Fred Franz who was vice president of the Watchtower and later to become its president.  From 1945- 1977 and was replaced by Nathan H. Knorr in 1977.  So Raymond was well placed to tell it like it was.

In his book Crisis of conscience  he had this to say:

“In many cases it was not some unkind treatment they themselves experienced that disturbed them; it was seeing such treatment meted out to others, seeing people suffer because of the rigidity, narrow-mindedness, even arrogance of men in charge, elders and others, or recognizing the hurtful effects of certain edicts of the organization that did not rest on a solid Scriptural foundation. Rather than disgruntled, vindictive complainers, they have simply pleaded for greater compassion, a closer adherence to the example of God’s own Son, the Master of the Christian household of faith. This feeling for others is, I believe, a decisive factor as to the genuineness of motive. Similarly, a concern for truth, a concern not to be guilty of misrepresenting God’s own Word, a concern not to be hypocritical in appearing to believe what they do not believe, support what they cannot conscientiously support, condemn what they cannot see that Scripture itself condemns—such concern is, I think, also determinative as to genuineness of motive of any taking such a stand. I know many persons who clearly evidence such concern, yet who are labeled as “apostates,” “antichrists,” “instruments of Satan.”

In case after case after case, the sole basis for such demnation is that they could not honestly agree with all the organization’s teachings or policies. I feel an obligation toward such persons. In virtually every instance, a small group of three to five men (a “judicial committee”) met with them in secret meetings, where those who came as witnesses could only give their testimony but not stay to witness the discussion.Later a brief disfellowshiping announcement was read to the congregation that presented none of the testimony and none of the evidence in support of the disfellowshiping action. After the reading of that announcement no Witness was supposed to talk with thepersons disfellowshiped, thereby shutting down any possibility of their expressing themselves by way of an explanation to friends and associates. For them to have done so before the disfellowshiping would have been counted as ‘proselytizing,’ ‘undermining the unityof the congregation,’ ‘sowing dissension,’ ‘forming a sect.’ For anyone to talk to them afterward would jeopardize that person’s own standing, make him liable for similar disfellowshipment” (Raymond V Franz CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE page 37-38)

The indiginous coptic minority in Egypt are coming under increasing genocidal antics by Moslem.  Some have been redused to living among the garbage.  Has anyone seen any of this in the local newspapers?  where the outcry among our leaders? Oh the  newspapers reported the news about the overthrow of the Egyptian government.  But where is the cry that a miniority christian group might soon become extinct.  Remember that these are real people, with real lives.

If this video does not move you I dont know what will.   PRAY that God will move in this situation.

We stand before God as condemned men,  but his gift can change all that

Rom 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Rom 6: 23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

He found us wallowing in the mud of sin. But he did not leave us there. He took us as we are but did not leave us the way we where.

In the mud and mire he found us. Thankfully he did not leave us there.

John 3: 16-17  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3: 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3: 19-20  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3: 21  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God

Rom 8: 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

2 Tim 1: 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Eph 1: 3- Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

1 Cor 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit

Eph 2: 6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus

Clip from a documentary about the underground christian movement in Iran. Thousands of iranian shias are converting to christianity, zoroastrianism and even the main sunni branch of Islam. This is the result of the emptiness and falsehood of the cult of shiaism offered by the regime, and the many contradictions it results in. Christians and other minorities are under heavy pressure in Iran as they undermine the whole project of this repressive regime.

UC Ministries:  Despite the persecution the gospel is flourishing.  Iran has been held up as thee most Islamic nation in the world , and yet even with all the oppression, violence, amd killing,  they cannot stop the gospel from spreading.  Emperial Rome discovered that and so will the Islamic rulers of Iran.

THERE IS ONLY ONE THING TO SAY  “YES”  TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!!

Rom 1: 16-17  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith

Michael Behee, and others, discuss the amazing design of the bacterial flagelum. The flagelum motor consists of many parts and could not have developed through step by step processes, such as darwinian evolution. Natural selection selects “information” to be kept in the population, but doesn’t ever add “information” to the gene pool

UC Ministries:  The absolute wonder of creation.  Evolution would say this just happened.  However  creation reveals that this Bacterial Flagelum Motor had to have all the parts already assembled in order to work.  If any part did not exist then this motor would not work.  If it did not work then it would quickly cease to exist.  We can easily extend this to the higher species.   Unless all the parts were there in the beginning then there could be no copulation let alone growth in the population.  I debated this issue with a evolutionist a while back.  I asked him have you seen a  rock that grew legs and spoke.  Eventually after much annoyance he stated that the question was ridiculous as a rock could never grew legs.  I said exactly.  Its dead and its impossible for something that has no life to produce life.  Life had to be there  from the beginning and it had to be able to function with all the complexities.  Working to do what it was designed to do.  Chaos can never bring order however there is no doubt that there is order within this universe.

Theologian Paul Begley of Indiana reveals the “Spirit of Darkness” in the World! The riots in the Middle East, Northern Africa! Also the Debt Crisis in Europe, and America! Also the destruction of Japan from the Earthquake, Tsunami, and 6 Nuclear Reactors in Meltdown! Also the Dead Cows, Birds, Fish all over the World! Food and Water crisis in Ethiopia, China, Africa! Begley also talks about the “swarms of locust” in Australia, Russia, and Ethiopia! The floods in Mississippi, Missouri, and Ohio Rivers of America, wild fires in West of America, and the black birds falling out of the sky! Is the Apocalypse upon us?

UC Ministries:  This year alone has seen tremendous upheaval right accross the board.  Far more than at any time in recent history.  Paul Begley Covers what is a very big subject and did not have time to share on the numbers of Christians that are going through great tribulation at this time.  There can be no doubt that this world is going through an unprecidented upheveal.

Communication today is so sophisticated that what happens on one side of the world can be within a matter of minutes communicated across the world.  Today the increasing darkness that is gripping the hearts of men and women is becoming sicker and more despairing.

Mat 24: 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

It carries the idea: “to breathe, blow, cool by blowing,” Passive Voice, “grow cool,” is used metaphorically in Mat 24:12, in the sense of waning zeal or love.    Such will be the terrible wickedness that will grip this world that men will despair and genuine affection will become stifled.

Today images of Taliban killing people are quickly broadcasted around the world with as little effort as a using a mobile phone.

Muslim Leader Admits Islam Not a Religion of Peace

Although both George W. Bush and Barack Obama have declared that Islam is a religion of peace, Choudary begs to differ.

“You can’t say that Islam is a religion of peace,” Choudary told CBN News. “Because Islam does not mean peace. Islam means submission. So the Muslim is one who submits. There is a place for violence in Islam. There is a place for jihad in Islam.”

Choudary is the leader of Islam4UK, a group recently banned in Britain under the country’s counter-terrorism laws. He wants Islamic Sharia law to rule the United Kingdom and is working to make that dream a reality.

While Islamic radicals in the United States usually prefer to speak in more moderate tones while in public, masking their true agenda, Choudary has no such inhibitions.

He has praised the 9/11 hijackers and has called for the execution of Pope Benedict. He also stirred controversy recently when video emerged of him converting a 10-year-old British boy to Islam.

Choudary told CBN News his group is a “non-violent political and ideological movement” that resides in the UK under “a covenant of security.”

Yet he openly praises violent jihad.

“The Koran is full of, you know, jihad is the most talked about duty in the Koran other than tawhid — belief,” he said. “Nothing else is mentioned more than the topic of fighting.”

Several former members of Choudary’s group have been arrested on terrorism charges.

“A very significant amount of former al-Muhajiroun people were involved in terrorist plots against this country,” London-based terrorism expert Peter Neumann said. “A number of people have actually gone to Afghanistan, joined the Taliban and died fighting for the Taliban.”

Choudary refuses to condemn acts of terror including 9/11 and the July 7, 2005 London bombings, which killed 52 people.

CBN News asked Choudary for his thoughts on the 7/7 bombings on London’s transport system, and whether he condemned them.

“For the people who carried it out, it was legitimate,” he replied. “If you look at the will of the 7/7 bombers Mohammed Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer, they would be justified. And there are many verses from the Koran and many statements to say that’s the Islamic argument. And that is a difficult Islamic argument to refute. And there are many scholars who support that argument as well.”

Choudary says his group is merely following core Islamic teachings and that Islam is much more than a religion.

“This particular belief is more than just a religion,” he declared. “It is not just a spiritual belief. It is, in fact, an ideology which you believe in and you struggle for and you are willing even to die for, because you believe in that: That is your whole life.”

Choudary seems to relish being called Great Britain’s “most hated man” and pledges to continue his rallies calling for the overthrow of the British system.

Now is Choudary corrrect?  Here a twelve year old boy is initiated into the Taliban.  Whilst Muslims hold this man down, the twelve year old goes about cutting this fellow Moslems head off.  We can’t say what crime if any he committed to be executed in this way, but it would have been slow and violent.

The boy lays into cutting this Moslems throat with as much ease a cutting a sheeps throat.

What follows is some VERY GRAPHIC IMAGES of a man being beheaded by a twelve years old boy.  He has no thought or realisation that he was commiting murder.

Back ground to the Emergent Church movement.

But what is the Emergent Church?    Unlike many denominations the Emergent church is not a denomination.  It has no central body, although it does have a number of leading ministers like Rob Bell and Brian McLaren who promote it.  As the word says this movement is “emerging” out of something with the possibility of going somewhere.   It could be describes as some great social experiment  that in my mind has become a nightmare.   Middle ages mystics and mystical experiences are back in vogue with these guys.  However the Bible is definitely out.  I would categorise the Emergent church movement as potentially rife with unbelievers who doubt and reject the THEOLOGICAL absolutes of scripture.  They seek to redefine the Bible in a way that is more palatable to the sinner. A social liberal gospel the does not offend but embraces everyone.  Most of all they seek to redifine God as a more socialble likable deity, whose anger issues have been dealt with by the wisdom of men.  As if we could every change God to suit our own agenda.

Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism

In today’s church experience has become everything, and what goes is happily embraced.  If it makes you feel goose bumps that’s alright.  But the truth is out.  They don’t know what it is and maybe in a few years they might get around to discussing what it is.  Simply they don’t know what truth is even if they ran into it.  The drive towards experience orientation is more like a car that is heading for the freeway but the driver is in the back seat and his dog is doing the driving,  Emergent movers have turn to dark age mystics who closeted themselves in caves and monasteries, fasted day and night until they hallucinated and had visions of dark places of light and shadows.  Many died being even rejected by various popes as either madmen, or saints.    The fact that these mystics were predominantly Roman Catholic Mystics means that Catholicism itself is being entertained as an avenue to grace.   The belief now is that the Bible is just another box that would cramp people style, so they seek to open the box, leave the confines of its structures and make new boxes with open sides and open tops.  Emergent mysticims is not just confined to the people already mentioned.  Emergent church  because it has no official boarders theologicaly to describe what is is, never mind what it is not.  It Is really an open social gospel that may eventually  become a stream that may fracture in many different ways all at once.  Everyone having their own opinion on what they are emerging out from.  Personaly they are really emerging OUT  and away from the TRUTH.

McLaren brought out a book  where he outlines this new Emergent theology, and called it “A New Kind of Christianity”.  (Note the emphasis is on a NEW CHRISTIANITY.  The old is dead so hail the new emperor, except this emperor  is a clown.)

The Emergent movent constantly seeks to redifine orthodox scriptures and place new meanings to words.

Even people normally supportive of Rob Bell are starting to notice; today we see a case in point from Ben Witherington in Rob Bell on the Hot Seat, where he says of Bell’s appearance on MSNBC:

What I find troubling about this video, and with the interview Tuesday night in New York that is also making the rounds on YouTube is that Rob  is evasive in both cases.    This is not the same approach he has taken in the past on a variety of complex issues,  and it is troubling indeed.    Whatever else one can say about generous orthodoxy, it should not include suggesting that polar opposite views about God are equally orthodox,  nor that contradictory views on key Scriptures  are equally plausible or possible.

Rob  like most people are aware that the Bible teaches about hell , but rebelion and disobedience means he refuses to accept the truth.  When people refuse to be guided by the truth they will certainly  reject the truth for whatever they so devised.

Hosea 4: 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Long before  people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge , it is because they have first rejected that truth  in the first place.

Emergent minister Carlton Pearson

Homosexuals and homosexuality is not going away. If every gay person in our church just left or those who have an orientation or preference or an inclination, or a fantasy, if everyone left, we wouldn’t have — we wouldn’t have a church”. –Carlton Pearson

“OKLAHOMA-based pastor and gospel music figure Carlton Pearson has drawn more criticism concerning his unorthodox beliefs. At a charismatic church leaders meeting in Tampa, Florida, Pearson spoke about unrepentant homosexuals getting into Heaven. According to an investigation published in the April issue of Charisma magazine, Pearson said he hoped gay leaders would “build silent bridges” by joining the staffs of “heterosexual churches” and gradually convincing them to accept the gay lifestyle. Another pastor told the group, “We do not believe that loving someone of the same sex in a committed, monogamous relationship is a sin.”

The article by Charisma’s editor J Lee Grady went on to comment, “Did you ever imagine we would see a day when so-called Spirit-filled ministers would call for the open acceptance of sexual perversion? If you can’t hear the alarm bell buzzing, please have your ears checked. We need to pull our heads out of the sand and recognise that the American Church is racing toward the biggest culture clash of our time.” http://www.crossrhythms.co.uk/articles/news/Pearson_Controversy/12535/p1/

Carlton Pearson may be filled alright but I doubt if it is the Holy Spirit.  In the video you are about to watch Pearson tries to defend Rob Bell.  So the great cry of Emergent is not just redifining what was once sociable unaceptable but to make it socially acceptable.  Calling good evil and evil good seems to be part of what they want to see emerging.

Anger or Justice:

2 Tim 3: 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

Now the idea of a God who has anger issues really stems from someone who has absolutely no Idea what the scriptures teach.  Like most Emergent ministers Hell is something we have down here, but not something mankind may face in the future.  They twist and squirm around the truth until they feel they have justified their unbelief. They push for a gospel with a very cosy warm feel attitude.  Sickly and blasphemous is what I would call it.  In  their theology a Moslem or a Hindu who goes out of his way to feed the poor is as much in the will of God as any Salvation army captain. So therefore all would be made welcomed.

Sending people to hell is not a knee jerk reaction from a holy God, but it is an issue of justice.  God anger is not like our anger which is often comes from a violent outburst.  God’s anger is never volatile but based on his deep sense of justice.  Hell is the final prison house for all who would reject God’s offer of salvation.  Hell is never about anger but it is about justice.  Unless you realise this as part of the nature and character of God then there is no possibility of coming to the truth.  Every word in scripture is based around the character and nature of God.  His holiness, his righteousness his love and his justice.

Rom 1: 28-29, 32 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,………… Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

God’s justice was just as much involved in sending Jesus as Gods love.  God knows us more than we do ourselves. God is not schizophrenic where his nature is fighting with itself.  Justice and love were combined to make an offer that was so outrageous and so wonderful that a person has to be a fool to reject it.   But God also knows that if his offer is rejected then there is no excuse on the day of judgement.  No finger will be pointed at God and say that his justice was cruel or his execution was wrong.  Justice was served to save the lost, but if the lost refuse to accept then Gods hands are clean.

I love it when a man can preach with passion , sincerity and Holy Spirit anointing
