Many when asked the question about this subject,  many will describe what scripture says, but have not asked this one vital question. Possibly some have attempted to answer and possibly some have even touched the answer. But I am not sure this is one question which can be answered fully.

I think its only when someone has managed to creep into the illuminating holy presence of an almighty God can one even begin to view the answer to this question. Possible it is only as we begin to view the question from Gods perspective do we really begin to fully understand the question.

What is the question? “HOW FAR DOES SIN GO?”

ATHEIST will boast that science has dismissed God, and yet atheism brought about communism and its history has been shrouded in the murder of millions in atheistic purges.

ISLAM will boast of their final prophet , the best of humanity. Yet this prophet has had his share of countless death and his follows the millions they have persecuted and killed in the name of their allah and his unholy prophet Muhammad.

CATHOLICISM boasted about being the church of Jesus, and yet history records the inquisitions and the torture of believers in its name.

FEMINISM boasts that their uterus is their own and they alone have the right to choose to abort .

Yet all would demand they had a legitimate right and their actions were legal. No matter how unholy it appears.

There was a falling out by a brother over the issue of a sacrifice. Until that point no one had died and no scar blighted humanity of an innocent life taken.
Yet we see one brother take the life of another, and once taken there was no way to give it back. Life stolen robbed and in a split second of pain that life had ceased. We take such a story of Cain and Abel so lightly. Since then the ground has never been silent. The pain and suffering as one life after another is robbed and taken all in the name of convenience.

This is the ultimate expression of where SIN takes us , But it does not quite answer the question does it. Sin is more than the taking of a life; It’s the enjoyment in the way life is taken. Sin is not just a robber, it is also changes a person to become an expression that enjoys the way it takes a life. Conscience seared and devoid of guilt. Robbed of compassion, destitute of morals, and one that takes an ultimate enjoyment in the suffering of another. The lingering of torment before the light of life is snuffed. Love becomes a twisted expression of hate.

Jer 17: 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The word DESPERATELY WICKED means something which is :
incurable desperate, desperately wicked , woeful, sick.
The word DECEITFUL means something which is :
deceitful, sly, insidious deceitful, sly, insidious, slippery ,foot-tracked
steep, hilly.

NO WONDER GOD SAYS “ SIN” MUST BE JUDGED. WHY “SIN” MUST BE PUT AWAY FROM HIS CREATION. WHY “SIN “ is so hideous, we would rather clothe it in ideology religious or otherwise than have it exposed

He sees where sin will take humanity if it is allowed free rein. What many once called sacrilege now has become just a mere sexual orientation. But I wonder how many have reached the mountain top looked over and see the panoramic darkness where this will take us, were everything is permitted and sanction? What is seen as barbaric, soon becomes the norm; Morality an outmoded concept of by gone ages. Perhaps this is one question many just don’t want to answer, because in answering it demands we act.

In thus we find ourselves lost in a sea of transgression and in need of a life guard. Jesus the only answer to man deliemma. But in saving us he will expose our sins for what they are. Root out and pull up all that offends his righteous cause.

This video is well worth listening to.

Somali Islamists arrested a Muslim father Jan. 14 after two of his teenage sons converted to Christianity late last year, International Christian Concern reports. Members of the radical Islamic group al Shabaab accused Mo’alim Mohamud Aw-Omar of “failing to raise his sons as good Muslims” because “good Muslims cannot convert to Christianity.” Aw-Omar, who is still a Muslim, said he should not be accused of failing his duties because his sons — who fled home after their conversion — had memorized the Qur’an, fasted and prayed regularly. The Islamists have reportedly refused to release Aw-Omar until his sons return home, which is unlikely since leaving Islam is a crime punishable by death in Somalia. Islamic extremists have killed many Christian converts in Somalia, but this is the first confirmed case of a parent being arrested for the conversion of children.

UCMINISTRIES:  It seems if they can’t get the sons they will certainly get the father.

Richard Roberts

Eph 5: 8 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

Prov 20: 1 Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Richard Roberts, the son of the late evangelist Oral Roberts, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper stopped the 63-year-old just past midnight driving 93 miles per hour in his Mercedes-Benz.

According to the arrest report, Roberts failed a breathalyzer and field sobriety test.

The officer “detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about Roberts’ breath and person,” the report said.

Roberts served as president of Oral Roberts University for 15 years before stepping down in 2007.

He currently hosts a nightly television show called, “The Place for Miracles: Your Hour of Healing.”

“Our prayers go out to Richard and Lindsay Roberts and their entire family as they face this life challenge,” ORU officials said in a statement. “May God’s grace help them as they work towards healing.

News posts says that Richard was going 93 mph in a 65 Mph road.   The report goes on to say he failed sobriety test Roberts consented to a breath test showed his blood alcohol level at .011%, higher than the .08% limit for legal intoxication.

USMINISTRIES:  Whilst the Bible does not forbid the actual drinking of alcohol, it is very clear that one should not be drunk with alcohol. The trouble is when it comes to making the difference between a little and too much.  Having known alcoholics, I don’t recommend the drinking of alcohol in general.  Most people just can’t handle it and most people don’t know when to stop.

With Richard Roberts I suspect there may be deeper issues that need to be addressed. I hope and pray they will.  If anyone hears more on this story let us know.

  • Isa 24:18- 20 “  And it shall come to pass, [that] he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.   THE EARTH SHALL REEL TO AND FRO LIKE A DRUNKARD, AND SHALL BE REMOVED LIKE A COTTAGE; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”

Hundreds of years before the rise of modern science the Bible predicted that the earth wobbles.  In fact it predicted that this wobble will become so bad that the earth itself will begin to shake apart.

Recently I have done a series of articles on the subject of the sons of God.  It was put forward that Noah was saved because he had all the right genes.  He was physically perfect.  However that is not consistent with the Bible.  From Genesis with the account of Abel, and all the way through the Bible we have story after story about men who were not perfect, or sinless.  Their lives were often marred by sins.  But the Book of Hebrews 11 recounts that they had faith.  These ordinary men despite their faults BELIEVED.  Now there is a consistency which runs like a chain all the way through the Bible and that consistency speaks of FAITH.  Faith is what moved God to extend his grace to mankind.  More than anything else FAITH moves GOD.

  1. Abel was moved by faith to offer a bloody sacrifice.
  2. Enoch walked with God and was ruptured
  3. Noah was moved by faith to build an ark
  4. Abraham  was moved  to leave  his birthplace to find a place that God had called him.
  5. Job who had only heard of God was moved to believe.

Now none of these men had a Bible in their hands.  God had only spoken once possible twice.  But that was enough.  They obeyed what they were told.  Now we have more than they ever did.   Yet how much are we moved by what we are told.  Can you imagine moving upon a single word from God.  Living your whole life time based upon what you were told years previously.

2 cor 10: 7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [is] Christ’s, even so [are] we Christ’s.

If God does not look on the outward appearance, so having the right genes clearly was not what moved God to extend grace to Noah.  But if we were to believe for a moment that God did extend grace based upon the outward appearance then the consistency of God witness to man is cut and the whole gospel is changed.  There is only one consistent message which runs throughout the Bible and that GOD IS MOVED BY FAITH.

God looks on the heart of man to see if we will believe or not.  If we believe then we will be moved to obedience.  Noah was told one thing by God and that judgement was on its way.  Noah was moved by faith to obey.

1 Sam 16: 7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

This was clearly showed that Noah’s feature had little to do with his salvation.  On that I am glad.  David was picked to become the next King of Israel.  Yet David was the smallest of Jesse’s sons.  He was the shepherd lad that looked after the sheep when his older and bigger brothers went of to war.  But David although the weakest had something his brothers did not have….. HE HAD FAITH IN GOD.  That was what GOD saw and was moved by.

2 Cor 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [is] Christ’s, even so [are] we Christ’s.

So the weak and the lame have the same opportunity to receive God as anyone.  Once we accept that Noah was not saved by his genes but his faith the consistent record of the Bible continues unabated and undisturbed.  It stands as a witness to every person that has ever lived.  Simply saying I believe in Jesus is not what faith is about.  True faith moves us.  Convinces us and it will pursue us to embrace that heavenly testimony God has given.  Men are looking for that heavenly land and a city foursquare not because the Bible says it, but because we are so convinced by faith we can almost taste it.

True faith humbles us.  True faith is never about me but it is always about the one we serve.

Job 1: 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect8535 and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Job they say predicts Moses.  It is even possible that Job heard about God from Abraham.  What we do know for sure is that Job had no Bible and had never had a personal encounter with God.  Yet such was his faith he was moved to obey God.  Job was not sinless but he was moral in his conduct.  God extended Grace to this man.  His faith spoke volumes and this moved the heart of God to give this man this testimony.

Gen 6: 9 These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect8549 in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.

The word used of Noah being perfect is the same word that is used by the Palmist to describe the believer in general

Ps 37: 18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright8549: and their inheritance shall be for ever

Ps 15: 2 He that walketh uprightly8549, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart

The perfect man may not be sinless buy he believes and follows.

David was moved to take on a goliath.  Gideon to take on an army, Moses to take a people to the promise land.  Daniel to face a lions den.  All these men received a good report because they had faith.  This consistency runs throughout the Bible.  It is made clearer in the New far more than the old but it is still there.    Now if we turn round and said that Noah was saved just because he had the looks then the gospel is totally changed.  As we have seen the record we have is that God does not look on the outward man but on the inward person.  But what if?  Then those who don’t have the right looks are left out as one minister tries to debate.  It would mean that the blind, the deaf, the downs child, the handicap child all loose out.  What individual today can boast of having the perfect genes?  But is we turn round and say that Noah was saved because he was moved by faith.  Then the gospel of the whosoever fits.  It does not matter what your looks are, what genes you have.  What your background.  Faith will move God to extend grace to the sinner.  That’s the good news.  Black White Asian Chinese and anything in between.  If you will believe God will extend his grace.  The drowning man has to believe that his rescuer has the will and the power to save him.

Heb 11: 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

This is one of the most wonderful blessings any man can receive from God.  What a testimony we have had a good report.  We are not perfect but we believe and that belief is transmitted into action.

Hebrews 11: 4  By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Hebrews 11: 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith

Hebrews 11: 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went

All the way through this chapter God gives us this witness : “BY FAITH”  Men were moved to follow God.  I cannot understate this fact.  True Biblical Christ accepting faith is moved to believe and obey what God has said and is moved by it.  Just as God is moved by our faith we are moved to obedience by our faith.  The Holy Spirit comes to make that faith real in our lives.

Today people are being persecuted and killed in their hundreds; all they have to do to stop it is recant off our belief in Go and Jesus d.  But they choose to say yes to God testimony.  They are prepared to lay their lives on that fact.

Hab 2: 4 Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Faith moved Jesus to extend his hand to heal.

Mat 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Faith takes us into the very presence of GOD.  Faith obtains the blessing of God.  Faith recognises the testimony of God and embraces it.  Faith acknowledges that Jesus died for our sins and rose for our justification.  By faith we acknowledge our weakness and trust in his provision.

True Biblical faith will hold to the witness of God.  Now sadly many do not have this Biblical faith and they will be swayed by whatever wind blows.  True faith turns cowards into fighter,  Shepherds into Kings.  Ignorant fishermen to witness to the intellectuals.  You can’t stop true biblical believers.  They are moved by a power not of this world, because they are persuaded by a power that is not of this world.  They have peered over the wall of the physical and see the world that is to come.  They have looked beyond and see what human eyes cannot see.  For they see and are convinced by what they see.  We hope and we embrace that while we do not see clearly we have embraced the witness of our God.  Faith persuades us to bow our knees to the who created us and saves us.  Faith confesses that my allegiance is his.  Men boldly stood up to the burning stake knowing that their flesh will be burned.  Ye they stood and testified to the greatness of God.  They would not be shaken in their testimony.  They could lift their hands as the flames licked higher and declare that Jesus was their Lord.  True faith declare that if this served his glory so be it.

Many have tried make faith about what we can get from God, but that is not true biblical faith. This is a gospel of  selfishness which has been mixed with commercialism .   True Biblical faith is what we  can offer up to God.  True faith recognises our own dire condition and recognises that God is the answer to it.

So far the book of Enoch and Genesis 6 concerning angels has been debunked.    Personally from what I have read the book of Enoch would be welcomed on some seedy pornographic stall.  My opinion is if you own a copy  you should burn it.

But let us explore the rest of scripture.

Hebrews 11: 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

The word for righteousness means exactly what it says “Righteousness”   It has nothing to do with appearance.  Clearly Not sinless but righteousness  was accorded to his record.  Noah had the right moral character.  It had nothing to do with the outward appearance of the man.  He became an heir of RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH.   Certainly not because he wore the right clothes or even had the right features.  DNA has absolutely nothing to do with faith, morality of righteousness.

Dante Fortson Part 2    Fortson goes on to say

“By the way, demons and angels are not the same thing. The Bible never says they are, that’s assumption. Every single appearance of an angel in the Bible they had bodies like people. Nowhere does it say that fallen angels have to inhabit humans.”

This is assumption based upon a book which has already been debunked.  The basic truth is we don’t know 100% for sure how these fallen angels and demons go together.  We do know that all angels are spirits which means the majority of the time they are unseen.  They do not have physical forms as humans do.  We are told that satan can and did appear as a snake, as well as he can appear as an angel of light.   Fortson observation for the most part comes from various descriptions which the Bible offers up of good angels.

So they can take human form and some may have the ability to eat.  But at no time does it say or even suggest that angels had penis, let alone have the ability to have sex and actually conceive a child.  At no time does God ever say to any angel to be fruitful and multiply.  If there is no marrying in heaven then that is because there is no need too.

Also, turn to Deuteronomy 17… Moses mentions new “shedim” that came newly up whom their father’s feared not. In order to truly understand what Moses is talking about you need to understand the difference between the 2 words translated as gods/devils and idols. They all have a specific meaning, but Moses chose to use “shedim”. These were evil spirits that inhabited the forest… Where did they come from? Moses clearly says “they sacrificed unto devils, to new gods that came newly up whom your fathers feared not.” He also uses use the word Elohim, which is only used in 3 ways in the Bible. God/gods/angels.

As far as your wrongful interpretation of Matthew 24:36-39 the Noah story makes no mention of homosexuality at all. You are inserting that yourself. Jesus is referencing the Noah story. It’s a shame that Christians won’t re-read it just so they can hold onto their outdated and unBiblical interpretation of it.

We don’t need any extrabiblical text to make the case for Genesis 6 involving angels. I can show you the ONLY 5 places that the phrase (b’nai ha elohim) occurs in the Bible and all of them refer to angels and never to people.

2x – Genesis 6:1-4
1x – Job 1 (Satan is among them)
1x – Job 2(Satan is among them)
1x – Job 38 (They shout for joy when earth is created)

Now he is quite wrong here as we will see, for there is another place where this phrase is used.  But we will come to that in a minute.

People weren’t created until day 6 so it clearly does not refer to people. If you bother to pick up an interlinear Hebrew/English Bible, “sons of God” is translated as “divine beings” which is what they call angels. In fact almost every version of the Bible except modern English translates it as angels/divine beings/gods… never men.

Job 1: 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

This all we are told.  There is no evidence to suggest they were either in heaven or the earth.

Job 1: 7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest  thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

If anything it seems to suggest that satan was actually on the earth, walking up and down as a restless spirit.

Job 28: 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

If the Morning stars are angels then why use another name to apply to the same people.  If the sons of God were these fallen angels why would they be praising God?    The language does not mean they both praise God at the same time.  God was talking to Job when he said where you when all these things happen.  It is evidence that the sons of Adam could do indeed be praising the Lord.  Basically both these verses are open to interpretation.  If Genesis 6 is debunked then the rest of these verses has to be men rather than angels.

Now when God has a controversy against something he will make it known throughout the Bible if need be.  But here we see several hundred years after Genesis we have him complimenting these sons of God for praising God.  Now again why would he mentioning these sons of God in such a praise worthy manner?  If these sons were actual fallen angels then would God not make it clear their crimes and how despicable and wicked they were?

We can also get into the Nephilim (fallen ones – translated as giants) which have ALWAYS been taught to be angel/human hybrids, until the Church got their hands on it. When the 72 JEWISH scholars translated the Septuagint they CHOSE to translated as “gigantes.” If you do even an elementary study on the gigantes you find out that they were supernatural giants, not just big people. The Vulgate translates it the same way. The kicker is where they are bound… TARTARUS… 2 Peter 2:4 is the only placed that word Tartarus is used in the Bible. It’s translated as hell, but again, if you do your research you find out that it’s not hell, but it’s the outter darkness of hell. The place of torment, the dark abode of woe. It was considered to be as far below hell as earth is below heaven.

Basically we are all fallen ones.

If you recall, the demons asked Jesus if He came to torment them before their time. Tartarus is the only place in the Bible that fits that description. There is also a HUGE problem if you bother to read Isaiah 26: THE GIANTS WILL NOT BE RESURRECTED. Here is the verse from several versions:

“[They are] dead, they shall not live; [they are] deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.” – Isaiah 26:14 KJV

“They are now dead, they live no more; those departed spirits do not rise. You punished them and brought them to ruin; you wiped out all memory of them.” – Isaiah 26:14 NIV

The word “GIANT” is not even mentioned in Isaiah 26.  We all know that the NIV has some major translation problems.  Personally stick with the KJ.  If you care to look at scripture you will find that all will rise to be judged at the last day.  When it says they will not rise he is meaning they will not be coming back to this earth.  All this verse in Isaiah 26 says is that they are dead and will not be coming back to live on the earth.

Rev 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Rev 20: 3 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

All who have died will be judged.

“Dead — they live not, Rephaim, they rise not, Therefore Thou hast inspected and dost destroy them, Yea, thou destroyest all their memory.” – Isaiah 26:14 Young’s Literal Translation

“morientes non vivant gigantes non resurgant propterea visitasti et contrivisti eos et perdidisti omnem memoriam eorum” – Isaiah 26:14 Latin Vulgate

The translation says :they do not live to die and not the giants rise again: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and wiped out all memory of them to”

Vulgate is the only version which appears to use the word giant.  Also there is no basis for such a translation to be translated as giants.   The Hebrews does not even suggest “GIANTS”.

Notice that Young’s translates it as Rephaim… They were known as “the walking dead” and they were giants. Goliath was born to a giant in Rapha, making him a Rephaim. The Vulgate uses the word “gigantes” which is how giants was translated in Genesis 6. So why exactly will these giants not rise? It was likely the union of humans and angels that led to the birth of unnatural offspring that continued to roam the earth after their body was killed. They were neither human nor angel and thus became demons.

Is 26: 14 [they are] dead 4191 , they shall not live 2421 ; [they are] deceased 7496, they shall not rise 6965 : therefore hast thou visited 6485 and destroyed 8045 them, and made all their memory 2143 to perish 6 . ( Strongs)

They are dead ( 4191)  However this same word 4291 is also used to describe  Adam, Methuselah,  and the sinful in general.  Now I can presume that none of these people were giants.  Will the sinful not be risen in the last judgement? YES!!!  Gen 2: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely4191 die4191

Gen 5: 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died4191 .

Ezek 33: 9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die4191 in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Psa 82:7, Pro 19:16, Eze 3:19, Eze 5:12, Eze 33:11 there are plenty of other verses which use these words.

The word DECEASED  (7496) which the vulgate translates giants

Isa 26: 19 Thy dead [men] shall live , [together with] my dead body shall they arise . Awake and sing , ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew [is as] the dew of herbs, and the EARTH SHALL CAST OUT THE DEAD7496.

The same word for deceased is translated dead in Is 26: 19   where the earth shall cast out the dead.  So it would seem that they will rise after all.  But not to this life.!!

Prov 21: 16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding SHALL REMAIN IN THE CONGREGATION OF THE DEAD7496

Same word and in whose congregation will they remain in.  It would suggest that this verse is not applicable to one set of individuals but to the sinner as a whole.

Romans 8: 9 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the SONS OF GOD.

Phil 2: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the SONS OF GOD, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1 John 3: 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the SONS OF GOD: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1 John 3: 2 Beloved, now are we the SONS OF GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

There are in fact six verses in the NT which uses this title to apply to Christian believers.

Now we are to believe that these sons of God were the most despicable wicked and disgusting beings ever created by God.  Their crimes being so wicked that the title of SONS OF GOD would be forever and forever into eternity despised.  Yet we find that God actually described Christians as being SONS OF GOD.  Why would God give such a wicked and malicious title to his Children?  This would be the same as calling the Christian after satan or Beelzebub.    This would be the same as a child who was terrible molested and then calling him by the surname of the man who molested him.   Just to make injustice complete the law punish the child for being molested.

THIS IS WHY THE QUESTION WAS ORIGINALY OFFERED UP; IS GOD A GOD OF JUSTICE OR INJUSTICE?   if we believe that these sons of god were the wicked angels who molested  and raped women and animals , why would God THEN judge their victims  humans as being the perpetrators.    They would in fact be the innocent victimes of such terrible carnage.  As such for God to judge these victims it would make him a God of injustice.  That is not the record we are presented in scripture.  At no time are we grasped by a picture that this title sons of God is something to be despised or ashamed off.  Nor do we find the use of this title presented in the NT in an ugly revolting manner.  Which it would have to be if it was applied to some filthy grotesque angels who were in rebellion against God.  In fact the use of the title if anything is applied to those who are obedient and faithful to GOD.

China Aid Association Picks 2010’s Top 10 Cases of Persecution of Churches and Christians in China

Mr. Alimujiang, the leader of a house church in south Xinjiang’s Kashgar region was arrested on Jan. 12, 2008. He was illegally detained beyond the legally allowed time period, and was sentenced on Aug. 8, 2009 in a secret sentencing hearing by the Kashgar Intermediate People’s Court to a 15-year jail term. Alimujiang did not accept the sentence and the famous Christian human rights lawyer Li Baiguang appealed the sentence on his behalf. On March 16, 2010, the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Higher People’s Court upheld the lower court’s ruling: Alimujiang was guilty of “revealing state secrets to foreigners” (with sentencing appropriate to a “top secret” level crime), given a sentence of 15 years and deprived of his political rights for five years. In the past three years, his wife, two young children and his mother have never given up their efforts on his behalf. ChinaAid Association has also made great efforts to win his release, but has seen no progress whatsoever.
