Why Allah is not God.

This is the verse in the Koran:  Mohsin Khan 4 : 142: Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, BUT IT IS HE WHO DECEIVES THEM. And when they stand up for As-Salat (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allah but little.

Another translation of the Koran uses the wordsbut it is He Who beguileth them

So who is the one who beguiles people?

Now the first question before is :  is beguiling a SIN?

Decieve: means to ensnare. Decipere is formed by dē + capere (to seize). Later, it was taken into Old Frech as dececeir and then into Middle English as deceiven. When someone deceives someone else, he leads the other person to believe something which is not true. And, the other person is said to be deceived by the former. It also had an archaic use and is used to mean ‘to
catch by guile or ensnare’.

Beguile: The term ‘beguile’ has a couple of uses: 1: attract; cause to be enamored; 2: influence by slyness.  Another site says Beguile means to influence by trickery, flattery; mislesd or delude.

Is this the type of description that we have of the God who inspired the Bible.  Let’s look closer at this statement to see what sort of god this describes?

It seems to say that the person who goes out to deceive Allah – Allah will deceive that person.  Otherwise do to others what they do to you.  There is only one way to deceive and beguile a person and that is to LIE, LIE and LIE!   But is lying part of GODS nature?  Is trying to “MISLED”,  use “ TRICKERY” or by the use of “FLATTERY” God leads people to himself or away from the truth?  The answer must be forever NO.

1 John 2: 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and
that no lie is of the truth.

A lie and a truth just don’t mix together.  So we would not expect God to lie in order to bring forth the truth.  Moslems believe that Jesus did not die on the cross but was substituted for someone who looked like Jesus.  Here again would this not be an act of deception on gods part….. Therefore a LIE.   Is the God of the Bible a liar?  Again the answer is NO.

If God was a liar how would any human even know what the truth is?  It would be impossible to trust or even discern what truth is.

Luke 6: 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise

In the same way we would have others treat us we should treat them.  Would we wish to have others deceive and beguile us?
The answer is obviously NO.  Yet this would seem to run contrary to the nature of Allah who seems to be more than willing to deceive and beguile people.  The old statement “Two wrongs don’t make a right”, and yet with Allah this is OK!!

Now is the nature of God to deceive others? Does God even have a vindictive nature?  Does God deliberately go out of his way to deceive someone who tries to deceive him?  Can God even be deceived by anyone?

This is what Jesus taught his disciples:

Math 5: 38-39 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Math 5: 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Gal 6: 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Now does any of this describe the nature of a God who is so petty that he will deceive others?

Allah deceives people                    God says do “good” unto  people, pray for them.

Allah beguiles people                     God says “love” your enemies

Now which of these two would seek to do more harm to others?  Allah who beguiled and deceives people or a God who commands that we do good unto people?

This saddens me quite a bit; but I am forced to acknowledge that in  talking with a number of Moslems on chat rooms; Moslems lie on a regular basis.  I hope for their sake that not all Moslems lie however if they believe that even their own god goes out his way to deceive and lie then his followers are obligated to do like wise.

Jesus found himself in a similar situation and this was his response.

John 8: 44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it

One Moslem responded by saying that’s this was only talking to the Jews and does not apply to them.  However it really applies to whoever it is applicable to.  If you abide in a lie and deceive others then you are indeed of your father the devil..  It is he who is the father of lies.

God is a GOD of truth and not lies.  God who is Holy , who loves righteousness and hates iniquity.

Time after time God presents himself as a righteous and holy God.  How can such a God seek to deceive others?  It would be an oxymoron to his nature.

1 John 2: 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Mat 5: 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

If God sends rain on the just and the evil would this not also runs contrary to this statement of a God who deceives and beguiles people.

James 1: 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning

Jam 1: 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man

Again does this suggest in any way a GOD who lies and deceives people?  If God does not temp people then he will certainly not deceive them.

James 2: 8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

James 3: 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 4: 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.

HOW can anyone believe that good can come out of deception,  How can we even say that deceiving and beguiling people is “good”  Would this not make God the author of confusion and sin.  Clearly this cannot describe the God of the Bible.

Col 2: 4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

Beguile : paralogizomai  1) to reckon
wrong, miscount 2) to cheat by false reckoning

a) to deceive by false reasoning 3)
to deceive, delude, circumvent

Rev 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death
.

NOW how can we have a god that deceives and beguiles, encourages those who follow to lie and deceive, and then turn round and condemn them all to the lake of fire.

Of course Allah is a god. Many worship him so he must be. But what kind of a god is he? Into what final place does he lead his worshippers? . Elijah challenged Israel at one time: If Baal be God then serve him. But if Yahweh be God then serve Him. The true God will send fire from Heaven to consume the sacrifice. All of Baal’s prophets fled for their lives when Yahweh answered by fire. Nothing has changed!. Allah will stand before Yahweh on Judgement Day and give account of himself to the Almighty. What will he say then? (by the way dear muslims there is no sexual activity in Yahweh’s Heaven). Please turn to Jesus the only Saviour before it is too late..
