MANDI BAHAWALDIN, PAKISTAN — A Christian youth was critically manhandled and sodomized by several unidentified Muslim men on the night between June 2 and 3 rd after he picked up a quarrel with his Muslim age fellow while playing Cricket in a play ground near District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital MandiBhawaldin, ANS has learnt.
The trouble for 16-year-old Christian man, Imran Masih started when his Muslim friend, Naveed called him by the words « Essai and Choora, » the bywords for Pakistani Christians used often by the Muslims to disgrace them.
Not knowing that his protest against the unwelcome language would make his position more vulnerable, the youth expressed his anger in a bid to stop Naveed from using the offensive language against him. This triggered a physical altercation between them. Naveed’s father, Muhammad Sadique, an ambulance driver of the DHQ Mandibahwaldin as well as the private driver of the Medical Superintendent, Amjad Iqbal arrived at the scene of incident and took the Christian youth to his home under the pretext of « reconciliation ».
As the Christian youth entered Sidique’s drawing room several Muslim men, who were waiting for their « victim » started forcing the minor boy to convert to Islam. Imran did not knuckle under the pressure and refused to embrace Islam. This angered the Muslim men and they started thrashing Imran with kicks and fists while some even bit him at his chest and other parts of his body to bully him into submission.
The Rays of Development (ROD), a non-governmental organization that investigated the case told ANS that most of the assailants were drunk.
« They threw liquor on his face and slapped and kicked him before subjecting him to sexual abuse », Farhan Mazhar , Chairman of the ROD told ANS.
He went on to say that the Muslim men tucked his mouth in a sofa and stood on his hands and feet.
Later, they subjected him to sexual abuse one by one, he added.
The Muslim men allegedly continued to bugger the Christian youth throughout the night between 2 nd and 3rd June and threw the unconscious youth in the street outside their house.
Imran was picked up by his family members the next day.
« Imran could not move any part of his body. He was not in his senses. We wondered what had happened to him, » Imran’s family members told ROD.
The youth revealed the traumatic incident to his family when he restored his senses after some time.
Imran’s mother, Kaneez bibi, who is a janitor at the hospital took his son to the Medical Superintendent of District Headquarter Hospital Mandi Bhawal Din for medical examination but he told her she was lying and showed him the door.
When the family approached the City Police Station Mandi Bahawldin for lodging a Police First Information Report (FIR) the police used dilly-dallying tactics and told them they should first obtain the Medical report.
The family members of the victim told the ROD that the hospital authorities and the Police kept them shuttling from the hospital to the police station and vice versa.
Imran’s family members further told ROD that the Police have been pressuring them for reconciliation. The high-ups of local district administration, and some local members of the provincial assembly Punjab are allegedly forcing the Christian family not to file the FIR. They threatened them with dire consequences if they did not change their mind, the ROD told ANS.
The police filed a fake theft report against Imran wherein he has been accused of stealing cash worth Rs 50,000 (US$ 833.3) and a mobile phone.
The ROD told the ANS that the police did file a report number 82 but have not filed FIR against the Muslim men who manhandled and abused the Christian youth sexually.
The accused are yet to be brought to the book despite the passage of a week. The incident has only come as a strain on the budget of the poor Christian family. After they are shunned treatment from government hospital the family is buying basic medicines like painkillers from the private chemists

There is no question about the truth. It is unchangeable just as our Lord Jesus Christ is unchangeable. He spoke the truth when He said – unless you repent you will perish (Lk, 13:3-5). He did say that if we did not cut off the offending thing off (which causes us to sin) – we will ‘go away into Hell, into the unquenchable fire, where their worm does not die and the fire is not put out. He spoke this three times on one occasion (Mark 9:44-48; also Matt. 5:29, 30 – whole body be cast into Hell). This is the truth and it is unchangeable. it is an expression of the love which Jesus was filled with, in that He actually warned them and us. He always spoke out from love. Paul reminds us that if what we say – even prophesy (the destruction of the unrepentant) – or do, does not come from love,- (God is love), meaning it is not from God, then we are nothing (1 Cor. 13; he provides a check list of what love is; isn’t God good to provide us with such a list).
It is imperative that we warn each other and others as we can, but it is also imperative that we exercise the things listed by the Holy Spirit. Love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Love does not compromise, just as truth does not compromise. Let us continually guard our hearts; may they ever be filled with God, His love, His light and His life; and keep focused on Jesus Christ and all His life- changing doctrine no matter what. Of course they must endure to the end like any one of us have to – none is excluded from Matt. 24:13 and Mark 13:13.
Jesus said that every true believer in Him must guard their own heart for out of it comes the issues of life. We must make sure that what we are saying is immersed with the love of God (not sentiment) spilling out of our own heart for the lost, for without love (which never fails and is not sentimental) as Paul says our voices are just noise (1 Cor. 13), and he is speaking from GOD’s perspective not his own. We all must make sure that what we say (and think and DO) comes from the Fountain of Life which is in Jesus Christ. We can say the right things but there can be poison in our tongues (who hasn’t had this experience?); or we can say the right thing and the very life of God is gushing out.
You would be familiar with Rev, 2-3. Samuel did not mince words with Israel or their king, Saul. But he did not fail to pray for them unceasingly (1 Sa, 12:23). In fact the prophet said it would be sin to so fail. Jeremiah likewise – and he wept for his people who refused to listen to God. Nathan the prophet came to David the mighty king with a very sharp sword (word) of God – You the man! David! Jesus did not fail to rebuke even His own true followers at one time calling Peter – satanas! (meaning – adversary) But He was willing to and did, lay down His life for them. That is the test, the true test of whether we speak the truth or not. May God our Father help us all to daily lay our lives down for the brothers, and to pray for those whom God is yet to bring into the Kingdom of His Dear Son. Jesus Christ becomes the only Life, the only Way, the only Truth for that person.
I have no time for the religion of Islam. But neither do I have any time for Zen Buddhsm, or Shintoism, or Free Masonry. Why? Because I have ‘found the Pearl of great price’. Because I have been made to understand that Jesus Christ has everything I need, in this life and in the life to come.

I want to see Jesus so glorified among His people, that those who are yet in the kingdom of satan may get so thirsty because ‘the salt’ of the earth has not lost its savour. There should be either a growing hatred or a growing hunger and thirst for righteousness in the unbeliever because of the life of Christ in us.

Muslims are unbelievers by another name; harlots are unbelievers by another name; murderers are unbelievers by another name. In John’s list of people who are outside the holy city (Rev. 22:15), muslims are not named as such, instead we read that “dogs, sorcerers, fornicators, murderers, idolators, lovers of lies and makers of lies are OUTSIDE the eternal city.
In Paul’s list of those who DO NOT INHERIT the kingdom of God (Gal. 5:19-21), we do not read of muslims. What we have is a list nonetheless of those who practice the following; adultery (don’t forget Matt. 5:28), fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery (includes drug addiction), enmities (hostility), fighting (quarreling), jealousy, anger (fierceness), rivalries (includes contentiousness – distinct from contending [struggle with the fruits of the Spirit being evident] for the faith) factions and doctrine contrary to God – heresies. Also – envy, murder, drunkenness, revellings (rioting and carousing) and things like these. There are other such passages. My point is that the focus by GOD, is not on particular religions but on particular sins. We need to see Muslims not by a religious brand name, but in terms of those guilty of sins committed against the Holy and only true living God.
So as far as God is concerned, one who is guilty of murder is called a murderer not a muslim terrorist; one who is guilty of fornication is a fornicator, not a muslim extremist who wants to blow himself up so that he can get to ‘heaven’ and have 70 virgins who will satisfy his every sexual desire – just as he is told (LIED TO by his respected Imams; and they tell these lies because they learned them under a spirit of hatred from others). In this way he is also guilty of ‘loving a lie’, but he is not listed as a muslim terrorist but as a fornicator – for he has fornication brewing in his heart. A man or woman who goes to church and worships God and sings praise to Him but who covets his neighbours wife or husband is not called a pentecostal or Baptist, or Episopalian, or a Mormon, or a J.W, a but a covetous person who is guilty of adultery – AND MUST REPENT OR WILL PERISH in Hell where his worm dies not neither is his thirst quenched. And so we could go on in this way.
We get caught up with man made labels. We have to look again at the labels God is using and stick with those. By doing this we won’t get distracted so easily.
‘Muslims” are already condemned because they believe not that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! Let us be careful not to condemn them, lest we ourselves fall away. They stand already condemned. I trust that all the words you say against muslims, that your tears are just as many for them – remember Jeremiah who certainly proclaimed against faithless Israel. But he was a prophet who wept before God day and night for his people – Jeremiah 13:17; Lam. 2:11. Pray earnestly for them that they may repent and come unto Jesus Christ – Isa al Masih – the true God. But you would already know these things. Peace in Jesus.
