Just thought I would do a quick update on the Lighthouse missionHere are few comments the Light house mission have shared.

Sharing Jesus

Pastor Jim praying over homeless man during Lighthouse Mission street outreach. this poor man asked me for some fruit to eat (his teeth are really bad) sadly all I had to offer was an over-ripe apple. You would have thought I gave this guy a $100 bill he was so happy! Please pray that food comes in to meet the need this Thanksgiving.

60+ people attended the new outreach in North Bellport to get food!. Preached a message, Met many people & shared Jesus with them all. I handed out a small wooden cross necklace & blessed the people. Some were Muslim & would not speak with me & we blessed them with food two other Muslim people were happy to take the cross and let me pray over them…. Thank you Jesus!!

Sorry for the “raw” photo but real street ministry is not always easy. I have been working to help this homeless man to make a decision to get off the street & into a Christian program. A few weeks ago a street gang robbed & tortured him real bad (they cut his arm, burnt him with cigars, etc.- you can still see the staples he did himself!). I gave him a wooden cross necklace, coffee & some food. I prayed with him in the front of a 7-11. He started to cry.. while I was praying two strangers put their hands on my shoulder & prayed with me for this poor man. Please join me in prayer for this lost man

This man was grabbed and beaten up

Math 25: 35-36. 40  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me…… And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
