Is Zionism becoming a latter day deception?

When I say Zionism today I see several different levels.  Some of which as you will see I agree on.  However there is also a growing concept which I am convinced goes well beyond scripture.

Originally Zionism as a term came only to mean that Jews have a right to their own homeland, and then it became the right to live in Palestine.  Now I don’t think anyone would have a problem with that.  However Zionism as such has evolved beyond that description.

It is important that as a Christian we should love the Jews and desire beyond anything that they might come to a true knowledge of Jesus Christ.  However when people start to talk about supporting Israel on a unilateral basis I start to have major concerns.  The present thinking is that we must support Israel no matter what Israel does.  In fact as I will prove there are those who seek to place Israel onto some divine pedestal.

IS THIS BIBLICAL?  This is a very very serious question, because there are serious consequences if you come to the wrong answer.

The chief Zionist: JOHN HAGEE.

There are many who have contributed to the rise of Zionism within the church but none more  than John Hagee.

John Hagee brought out a book called “In defence of Israel” From that he did a video to publicise it.  This is what his video had to say:

  • This book will expose the sins of the fathers and the vicious abuse of the Jewish people.  The defence of Israel will shape Christian theology. Scriptural proves that the Jewish people as a whole did not reject Jesus as their messiah.  WILL ALSO PROVE THAT JESUS DID NOT COME TO THE EARTH TO BE THE MESSIAH. It will prove there was a Calvary conspiracy between Rome high priest and Herod to execute Jesus as an insurrectionists and too dangerous to live. AS JESUS REFUSE TO IN WORD OR DEED TO CLAIM TO BE THE MESSIAH.  HOW CAN THE JEWS BE BLAMED FOR REJECTING WHAT WAS NEVER OFFERED. “

It is important to realise that for those who embrace this teaching this is where you are heading.

John Hagee denies that Jesus is the Christ (messiah) in which case he is antichrist according to the word of God.  He may not be thee antichrist, but he is certainly one of many.  The Bible also calls him a liar because what he teaches is not true.

Scripture also proves that Jesus indeed come as the messiah and did indeed witness to that very fact.  The Bible also proves that the Jews did indeed reject Jesus.    They still reject Jesus as their messiah.  Only a curious look a Jewish Rabbis and what they teach will show this to be correct.  The fact that Judaism today is founded on a principle of denying Jesus as their messiah means that according to scripture Judaism is also an antichrist system.

Yet for many thousands who have joined with John Hagee and have embraced his values the question must be asked.  If you associate with John Hagee are you not also associating oneself with an antichrist?   It should trouble even the newest believer that Hagee statement has provoked so little reaction.    We are told that in the last days many will give heed to doctrines of demons.  That even God will send a strong delusion so that people who have no real love for the truth will believe a lie.  Here we have an obvious statement from a man who the Bible represents as an antichrist.  And the reaction to this is absolute silence.  Silence from his church, silence from those who are involved in his movement and silence from the Christian church as a whole.

  • 2Ti 3:7-8   Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

I sincerely hope that this is not the condition of those who read this article and simple reject it.

  • Jhn 4:25-26 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am [he]

You must understand the seriousness of this.  If Jesus did not come as the messiah then NO ONE has been saved or will be saved until the messiah comes.  It would also suggest that This Jesus was but an apostate like so many who came before him.  This is what John Hagee is suggesting even if he does not  verbalise those words.  John 4: 25 -26 Jesus clearly reveals himself as the messiah.   John Hagee  by denying that Jesus is the messiah is calling Jesus a liar.  Would any true man of God do that?

  • Jhn 5:39-40   Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
  • Mat 21:42   Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

So who was rejecting the cornerstone?

  • Jhn 19:14 -15  And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with [him], away with [him], crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

Who were rejecting Jesus as their KING?

  • Jhn 8:22 -23  Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
  • Jhn 8:28 a  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am [he],

There can be NO doubt that Jesus did come and did testify that he is the messiah.  The same messiah that both the Jews and John Hagee would deny.   What Hagee teaches is not a secret.  His book is on sale and his video can be watched on Youtube.

Let’s look at the teaching that Hagee is presenting to the world.  Christians United for Israel was established and headed by John Hagee.   I appreciate that there were many who originally gave their names to the establishing this cause, however there can be NO doubt that if John Hagee was not at the helm there would be NO movement.

  • The Israel Pledge
We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.
  • We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.
  • We PLEDGE TO STAND WITH OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ISRAEL and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.
  • · CUFI holds hundreds of pro-Israel events every year. We pray that you will join us at one in your city

Now while I agree that acts of terrorism is unacceptable and yes Israel has a right to defend itself  However I cannot agree to call the wicked Unsaved  and the unregenerate “Brothers and sister”  I can stand with jews who are saved.  But I cannot stand with the unsaved and call them family.

The word “Pledge “ means A solemn binding promise to do, give, or refrain from doing something: signed a pledge never to reveal the secret; a pledge of money to a charity.

CUFI speaks about the “Israeli pledge” Otherwise Hagee wants people to pledge themselves to Israel. A solemn binding promise is an oath to stand and call the unsaved brothers and sisters.  There is NO basis for this.  I cannot not,  anymore than I can support wickedness

Where in scripture are we to pledge or promise ourselves to the unsaved.

  • 2 Chron 19:2 “And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of the LORD is upon you.
  • Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Does Israel in general love Jesus and seek to obey his commands.  Have they repented of their wickedness and their part in crucifying the messiah?   Has Israel acknowledged their need?  Have they ceased persecuting the true believers in their midst?  Have they ceased from afflicting the poor and the strangers in their midst?

While we are called to love the sinner, we are never called to love what they do or support them in their wickedness.  Nor join with those who hate the Lord. It is my premise that Hagee does exactly that very thing.  He wants Christians to join him and elevating and bowing down to something other than God and to participate in someone else’s wickedness.

Have we taken 2 Chron 19:2 on board yet?  Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD?

Where in scripture are we told to support or pledge ourselves to any particular nation? Especially a nation that has openly rejected God .

  • Num 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
  • Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

So when people take this pledge to support Israel God will take such a pledge or oath seriously.

  • Jam 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and [your] nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Yet is this the very thing Hagee is asking people to do?  Now Israel as a government has killed and imprisoned Christians.  Their religious community has harassed and persecuted Christian Jews.   This is wickedness.  So how can I in all Christian love and conscience take such an oath?

  • Why Christians Should Support Israel

  • For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After He has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you – for whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye – I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me. Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion…

Now who and what is the apple of Gods eye today?

  • Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a PECULIAR people, zealous of good works.

The word for PECULIAR means :1) that which is one’s own, belonging to one’s possessions.a) a people selected by God from the other nations for his own possession.  The word also carries the meaning of a treasure which is above all other treasures which God has.  This means the believers are the true apple of Gods eye.

CUFI goes onto say:

  • Everything Christians do should be based upon the Biblical text. Here are seven solid Bible reasons why Christians should support Israel.
  1. 1. Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed.” Point: God has promised to bless the man or nation that blesses the Chosen People. History has proven beyond reasonable doubt that the nations that have blessed the Jewish people have had the blessing of God; the nations that have cursed the Jewish people have experienced the curse of God.

If we look at that verse we will find that the promise was given to one person and one person only.  However Hagee then extends this to include Israel as a whole.  Further more anyone who curses that nation experiences the curse of God.  So no criticism is allowed.

However Hagee has not quoted the whole verse which says

“And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Why does Hagee miss the last part out?  Because he does not want you to see that there is a connection here to the very messiah he rejects.  For in Christ (the true seed) all the nations and families of the earth will be blessed as the covenant promise goes out to the world.

  • Jhn 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
  • Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Jesus lays it down good and proper.  Hagee and others would try to excuse John 6 as being specific to the Leaders of the jews.  When in reality it is applicable to whoever it was applicable to.

  1. 2. St. Paul recorded in Romans 15:27 “For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.”

Again we see Hagee manipulate scripture to make it applicable to Israel alone.

The actual verse reads

  • Rom 15:26-27 “For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

Note it does not say “Jews” but “saints”  Paul was not saying that the gentiles were indebted to Jews in general but to the saved saints in Jerusalem.  The key word is that they have ministered unto you in spiritual things.  Would those “spiritual things” come from the unsaved that rejected Jesus.  Yet Hagee would have the believer come to believe that we owe all Jews some debt.  But notice the focus is not on Jesus but Israel.  This is the clever deception here.  Hagee wants Christians to be focused on something other than Jesus.  But elevating one particular race to a special place of honour that is exactly what he is doing.

This indebtedness was the basis that those who live by the gospel should also live off the gospel.

CUFI continues to say:

  1. 3. Christians owe a debt of eternal gratitude to the Jewish people for their contributions that gave birth to the Christian faith. Jesus Christ, a prominent Rabbi from Nazareth said, “Salvation is of the Jews!” (St. John 4:22) consider what the Jewish people have given to Christianity:
    a) The Sacred Scripture
    b) The Prophets
    c) The Patriarchs
    d) Mary, Joseph, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth
    e) The Twelve Disciples

    f) The Apostles
It is not possible to say, “I am a Christian” and not love the Jewish people. The Bible teaches that love is not what you say, but what you do. (1 John 3:18) “A bell is not a bell until you ring it, a song is not a song until you sing it, love is not love until you share it.”

Love is not selective either but desires that all men Jew and gentile might know God.

Suddenly faith in Christ has now become faith plus a debt.  What does it say about debt?

  • Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Once you start to talk about debt you loose the principle of grace.  Further more does the Bible even speak about an eternal gratitude towards the Jews?  Did the Jews not also reject the prophets and kill them, Reject their messiah.  Were sent into captivity because of their sins.    We have also to remember  the contribution that none Jews gave to Israel.  Abraham being one of them.  Job is another.  What about the marriage feats the Jews were called but they would not come.  You see once we go down the lines that’s says well we need to honour that race.  Then it is well within logic to say well what about all those people who came and contributed to the existence of that race.  Adam – Abel- Enoch- Noah.  The father of Abraham- Ruth-  and so we could go on.  The simply fact that in reality it is not man , or a race we should honour but Jesus.  What is also interesting is that Hagee refers to Jesus as a “prominent Rabbi from Nazareth”  Hagee simply acquaints Jesus on the same level as other rabbis  Muslim see Jesus as a prophet, but just one of many.  Mormons see Jesus as the brother of satan.  But as you read scripture the disciples came to realise that Jesus was more than a mere rabbi.  Is Hagee prepared to change that text to exalt  Jesus as the King of Kings, I wonder?

This is the record God has given.

  • Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
  • Luk 11:47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
  • Act 7:51-52, 54  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers [did], so [do] ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:…… When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with [their] teeth.
  • 1Th 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

Is there anything here that says we are to honour those who killed Gods people and reject him?  Yet in the face of clear Biblical facts Hagee would have us honour those who continue to reject God.  I can understand being appreciative of believers and what they have contributed, but the unsaved?

CUFI continues:

  • While some Christians try to deny the connection between Jesus of Nazareth and the Jews of the world, Jesus never denied his Jewishness. He was born Jewish, He was circumcised on the eighth day in keeping with Jewish tradition, He had his Bar Mitzvah on his 13th birthday, He kept the law of Moses, He wore the Prayer Shawl Moses commanded all Jewish men to wear, He died on a cross with an inscription over His head, “King of the Jews!” Jesus considered the Jewish people His family. Jesus said (Matthew 25:40) “Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren (the Jewish people… Gentiles were never called His brethren), ye have done it unto me.”

Now he seems to forget that Jesus came to fulfil the law because he is the paschal lamb.  But if we embrace Hagee concept here we would also have to embrace the law of Moses, which includes Circumcision.   In fact we would have to become Jews.  Even then as gentiles we would not be accepted because Hagee says Jesus never called the gentiles his brethren.  This is not Christianity but Judaism.

Hagee deliberately elevates Jews above gentiles.  Does the Bible teach this?

  • Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Does Jesus ever call gentiles his brethren?

  • Hebrews 2:11-12 “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.”
  • Psa 22:22” I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.”

So when Hagee says that Jesus never called the gentiles his brethren he is wrong.  These verses prove it so.   He that sanctifieth  (Jesus) and they who are sanctified (Believers) all are one.   Then he goes on to say “CAUSE HE IS NOT ASHAMED TO CALL THEM BRETHREN, SAYING, I WILL DECLARE THY NAME UNTO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CHURCH”

Does this not say we are indeed his brethren? So again we see that Hagee is openly lying.

CUFI goes on to say:

  1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalm 122:6) the scriptural principle of prosperity is tied to blessing Israel and the city of Jerusalem.

Otherwise it’s the only way to be blessed by God is faith plus works. (Supporting Israel)

  1. Why did Jesus Christ go to the house of Cornelius in Capernaum and heal his servant, which was ready to die? What logic did the Jewish elders use with Jesus to convince Him to come into the house of a Gentile and perform a miracle? The logic they used is recorded in Luke 7:5; “For He loveth our nation, and He hath built us a synagogue.” The message? This Gentile deserves the blessing of God because he loves our nation and has done something practical to bless the Jewish people.

Again there is this logic of taking scripture totally out of its context to make it say something it does not.  This statement was the logic of the elders of the Jews.  That statement did not come from Jesus himself.  Hagee is putting words in Jesus mouth that were not there.

Jesus summation was totally different.

  • Luk 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people who followed him, I say unto you, I HAVE NOT FOUND SO GREAT FAITH, NO, NOT IN ISRAEL.

CUFI goes on to say:

  1. 6. Why did God the Father select the house of Cornelius in Caesarea (Acts Chapter 10) to be the first Gentile house in Israel to receive the Gospel? The answer is given repeatedly in Acts 10. Acts 10:2 “a devout man, (Cornelius) and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.” Who were the people to whom Cornelius gave these alms? They were the Jews!

Again is Acts 10:4 “… thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.”Again in Acts 10:31 “… and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.” The point is made three times in the same chapter. A godly Gentile who expressed his unconditional love for the Jewish people in a practical manner was divinely selected by heaven to be the first Gentile house to receive the Gospel and the first to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These combined Scriptures verify that PROSPERITY (Genesis 12:3 and Psalm 122:6), HEALING (Luke 7:1-5) and the OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT came first to Gentiles that blessed the Jewish people and the nation of Israel in a practical manner.

Notice that now Hagee says that prosperity is not based upon faithfulness to God but faithfulness to the Jews.  The true statement was :

devout man, (Cornelius) and one that feared God with all his house”  This was a godly man who believed.  As with all WOF teachers money paves the way.  Somehow Hagee believes that money can buy the blessing of God.

CUFI goes on to say:

  1. 7. We support Israel because all other nations were created by an act of men, but Israel was created by an act of God! The Royal Land Grant that was given to Abraham and his seed through Isaac and Jacob with an everlasting and unconditional covenant.
    (Genesis 12:1-3, 13:14-18, 15:1-21, 17:4-8, 22:15-18, 26:1-5 and Psalm 89:28-37.)

Again that is not the case.  All nations were allocated their land by God. Plus the covenant God gave to the Jews was conditional.

  • Deu 32:8   When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

If there was this unconditional aspect to it, then God could not have kicked them of the land.  Jer 3:8 Hosea 1:

  • Deu 11:16-17   Take heed to yourselves, that YOUR HEART BE NOT DECEIVED, AND YE TURN ASIDE, and serve other gods, and worship them;  And [then] the LORD’S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and [lest] YE PERISH QUICKLY FROM OFF THE GOOD LAND WHICH THE LORD GIVETH YOU.
  • Deu 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

Does this sound like the covenant was unconditional?  Where does it say we are to support a nation based upon the ground they live on?    If there is neither Jew nor gentile but we are all one on Christ then such a support is irrelevant. If all racial distinctions are gone in Christ, then supporting any particular nation has no bearing .

CUFI goes on to say:

  • What is Christian Zionism? by The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem
  • Tens of thousands of churches, and literally tens of millions Christians in the USA have a committed belief in the importance of standing with Israel and blessing the Jewish people. The verse most often referred to as their biblical mandate is Genesis 12:3 in which God tells Abraham “I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
  • Since the birth of the State of Israel in 1948 the theological error known as Replacement Theology has begun to decline and increasing is a theology of Christian Zionism that understands the importance of God’s everlasting covenant with Abraham and the nation he would birth.
  • However, just as the term “Zionism” has been turned into a negative word by Israel’s enemies, so “Christian Zionism” is under attack and often misrepresented in the media and in some public discourse. For this reason, the ICEJ’s articles and monographs defining and clarifying the beliefs of Christian supporters of Israel and placing their “love for Israel” within its proper biblical context are proving invaluable.

The nation that Abraham was to birth was more than a mere Jewish nation but a larger nation of redeemed.  There is nothing here that speaks about that.  What we have here is the worship of a race called Israel.  It has become a modern-day idol.  Supported by a modern-day false antichrist and a liar.  NO where in the New Testament are we encourage to support Israel in the manner Hagee teaches.   Popularity is no basis upon which to derive if something is true.  That is down to scripture and as we have seen scripture is misused.  The everlasting covenant with Abraham actually finds its fulfilment through Christ and not a secular unbelieving nation. As we have seen these 7 solid reasons are not solid at all.

Whatever nation this verse is applicable to and there are many.  Those who reject God reject life.

So we can see Hagee and CUFI is not placing a proper biblical context to what they teach.

Night of honouring Israel

CUFI and Hagee make a big deal on the issue of have a “Night of honouring Israel”  This where Jews and Christians gather to celebrate Israel, make speeches , where Christians stand side by side with Jewish rabbis,  boast about how much money they have raised for Israel and generally say nice things about each other.

However as we have seen there is no Biblical basis for that.

The word for honour from the online dictionary says

  1. 1. a tangible symbol signifying approval or distinction
  2. 2. the quality of being honorable and having a good name
    1. 3. a woman’s virtue or chastity
    2. 4. bestow honor or rewards upon
    3. 5. show respect towards

Does Israel today have Gods approval?  NO so how can we give what God does not. Does Israel have a good name?  Biblically NO, Even in prophecy they are still called Sodom and Egypt.

  • Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Does Israel appear as a woman of virtue?  NO it has persecuted the poor, the father less widows and the strangers in their midst and   Persecuted Jewish Christians.  Throughout the Bible Israel is depicted as a whore that goes running after her lovers.  The Book of Hosea is but just one illustration.

On that basis how can we bestow honour, respect or reward them for what they have done?

Present Day Israel in under the hand of judgement.  That also goes for any nation which oppresses the poor.

  • Exd 22:21-24 Thou shalt neither VEX A STRANGER, nor OPPRESS HIM: FOR YE WERE STRANGERS IN THE LAND OF EGYPT. Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
  • Deu 24:19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

The word to VEX means 1) to oppress, suppress, treat violently, maltreat, vex, do wrong a) (Qal) to oppress, suppress. b) (Hiphil) to treat violently, maltreat

The word to OPPRESS means 1) to squeeze, press, oppress. a) (Qal) 1) to squeeze, press 2) to oppress b) (Niphal) to squeeze oneself

The word STRANGER means 1) sojourner. a) a temporary inhabitant, a newcomer lacking inherited rights. b) of foreigners in Israel, though conceded rights

The Roman Catholic Church did not start of worshipping Mary, but over the centuries Mary became more than the lowly hand maiden on the Lord.  She became the mother of God and then the co matrix with Jesus.  Now she is the queen of heaven.  What was only a place of honour became the place of worship.  So we see what was but a love for the Jewish people has evolved into a place of honouring Israel.  Like Mary they are placing Israel its cultures and traditions on a pedestal.  But I also believe that this is evolving into worship.  As more and more congregation become Jewish orientated and trying to combine Christianity and Judaism into a new hybrid religion.

  1. I think Zionism may very well indeed be the end time delusion or the deception of the elect that Christ mentioned. It’s so clear that we shouldn’t condone atrocities as Christians but many don’t get it. It’s the same with the Christian Identity Movement that have a misinterpretation of one word… “beguiled” as used in the instance where the serpent deceived Eve. They think it means seduced “sexually” rather than mentally and this is how they justify their hatred for blacks and jews. It’s demon seed theology akin to the offspring of Cain mythology. This kind of blind loyalty to a system that has been granted impunity against it’s evil acts will lead us to the kingdom of the antichrist in my opinion. They’ve already proven that they’ll fall for anything.
